I am suffering from a rejection complex so you have to suffer along with me!  Unless, of course, you click delete.  While I have had some of my letters published, I want them ALL published!  Enjoy–or not!

The inclusion stopped with the delusion that pro-life means what it says. It is an Orwellian moniker that is meant to obfuscate. A significant majority of “pro-lifers” are pro-death penalty and against government safety net programs that support early childhood education, food stamps, childcare vouchers, paid parental leave, foster kids and their trajectory into adulthood, to name just a few.

If you believe that a zygote or an embryo is a human life (contrary to scientific consensus), don’t have an abortion. But please keep your firm beliefs to yourself. I don’t want them. That’s what choice is about. As Ben Franklin wrote: Pray don’t burn my House to roast your eggs.

The fatal flaw in Gorsuch’s nomination is the dangerous precedent it would establish. Depriving a sitting President of his/her Constitutional prerogative to fill a vacant Supreme Court seat does not bode well for the stability of our justice system. Approving Merrick Garland, who the duplicitous Sen. Hatch praised until Pres. Obama nominated him, would be the only rational way forward.

Will someone tell the Dems to get real about questioning Gorsuch?  Trump never had to ask him questions about where he stands on progressive issues. All he had to do was look at Gorsuch’s record to know he’s the nominee who fully meets Trump’s promise to select someone who would vote to overturn Roe v. Wade, uphold expansive rights for gun owners and weaken protections for all those pesky peons who think all Americans have a right to vote.

Sadly, the real issue is that but for McConnell’s corruption of the Constitution’s Presidential prerogatives, Gorsuch couldn’t have been nominated. Did McConnell not take that oath to uphold the Constitution?

Among many other companies, Mr. Ichan savaged Trans World Airlines, a once iconic (no pun intended) international airline, leaving tens of thousands of ruined lives in his wake, himself vastly richer and an industry headed for demise. That’s what he does. His history shows no other path. He will do to the US what he did to TWA.

I want to share with you how very comforted I am that both Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump have turned control of their business holdings over to Jared’s family, headed by his father, the infamous felon Charles Kushner, who spent time in federal prison for tax evasion, illegal campaign contributions and witness tampering. How could anyone possibly doubt that the whole transaction will be on the up-and-up?

It would be hard to find a better example of our So-Called President’s lack of fitness as leader of the free world than in the difference between his reception of German Chancellor Angela Merkel and  Egyptian President Abdul Fattah el-Sisi.

His rude and petulant treatment of Germany’s highly regarded head of State and steadfast friend of the US, Chancellor Merkel, was mortifying. Among other abhorrent behaviors, he blatantly refused to shake her hand and barely looked her way.

In contrast, with Egypt’s despotic illegitimate President el-Sisi, Trump couldn’t have been more charming or welcoming, warmly extending his hand for the classic photo-op handshake, assuring him of our friendship and support.

Throughout the campaign Trump asserted time and again that no one was more Presidential than he. No; in fact, no one is less presidential than he.

Send Trump back to the Apprentice.
