Theo von Hoffman

Theo comes to Global Possibilities with 20 years of experience working with non-profit and environmental organizations in the areas of Marketing, Public Relations,  Educational Outreach and Operations Management.

Theo formerly served as Director of Special Projects for the national oceans advocacy group, American Oceans Campaign (AOC) where she managed and produced AOC’s annual Partner’s Award Dinner, a high-profile event attended by key executives from the entertainment and business communities.  She secured corporate underwriting from various sponsors and worked closely with the press on each event.  She was also involved in the production of several public service announcements and documentary films regarding AOC’s work to restore and preserve the oceans.

In 1998, Theo formed a private consulting business and continued work with American Oceans Campaign, and new clients such as the American Cancer Society, Americans for a Safe Future, Imagination Workshop, Teach for America, Optimist Youth Homes, and Ahead with Horses.

Most recently, Theo has served as an environmental consultant with Environmental Problem Solving Enterprises and Green Cycle Energy.  Projects include work on bioconversion technologies, transforming waste to green/renewable energy; and a waste/source reduction and recycling education program entitled “Think Green” for Toyota North American Headquarters.

With her uniquely diverse talents, tireless determination and dedication, Theo will be a valuable member of the Global Possibilities team and help to get our educational message out to the public through the distribution of our film documentary, Who’s Got the Power?
